The kudzu is a legume belonging to the genus Kudzu. Vine; tuberous root; each part has yellow hirsute. The terminal leaflets are rhombic-ovate, 5.5-19 cm long and 4.5-18 cm wide. Racemes axillary, flowers dense; bracteoles ovate or lanceolate. The pods are bar-shaped, 5-10 cm long, flat, densely bristled with yellow bristles. Distributed in North Korea, Japan and China; in China except Xinjiang and Tibet, it is distributed several times throughout the country. Born on grassy slopes, roadsides or sparse forests.
