Description:

Prawns (Woodfordia fruticosa (L.) Kurz.) is a shrub of the genus Prawns in the Lythylandaceae family. 3 -- 5m tall, with long spreading branches; Young branchlets pubescent; Leaves opposite, subleathery, lanceolate or ovate-lanceolate, apex acuminate; Short cymose panicle, pubescent, petals small and thin, pale yellow; Capsule membranous, linear long elliptic; Seeds small, ovate or conical, reddish brown.
