Description:

Small tree, up to 10 meters high. Branchlets dark gray, brown or light brown, quadrangular, hispid. Leaf blade leathery, ovate or long ovate, 3-16 cm long, 2-7.5 cm wide, apex acute to acuminate, base rounded or slightly heart-shaped, upper branches of leaves are cuneate, entire or with several leaves Irregular teeth, leaf margins revolute, hispids on both sides, lateral veins 3-5 pairs, flat or slightly raised above, obviously raised below; petiole 0.4-2 cm long, furrowed above, pubescent hair.
