Pomegranate Peel Extract, from the shell of the pomegranate, the dried skin of the pomegranate family. It has the effect of astringent intestine to stop diarrhea, hemostasis and deworming.
The pomegranate peel is rich wirh healthy anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory agents with healthful benefits. The potent antioxidant activities of pomegranate are attributed to its phenolic compounds including punicalagin. Punicalagin is a water soluble ellagitannin with high bioavailability. It is found in forms alpha and beta in pomegranate.
1.Anti-cancer and anti-mutation. It has been proved to be an effective anti-carcinogen upon carcinoma of rectum and colon, esophageal carcinoma, liver cancer, lung cancer, carcinoma of tongue and skin.
