Magnolia officinalis (scientific name: Magnolia officinalis Rehd. et Wils.) is a plant of the Magnoliaceae and genus Magnolia. Flowering period from May to June, fruiting period from August to October. It is produced in southern Shaanxi, southeastern Gansu, southeastern Henan, western Hubei, southwestern Hunan, Sichuan, and northeastern Guizhou; cultivated in northwestern Guangxi, Lushan in Jiangxi and Zhejiang. Born in mountain forests at an altitude of 300-1500 meters. It likes light and needs shade at young age. It likes a cool, humid, cloudy and foggy climate with high relative humidity, with well-developed root system, fast growth and strong sprouting power.

Function:Magnolol and honokiol have anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-tumor, and pharmacological effects such as inhibiting  withdrawal.
