Lavender (scientific name: Lavandula pedunculata) is a genus of lavender in the Lamiaceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean coast, all over Europe and the Islands of Oceania, and has been widely cultivated in Britain and Yugoslavia. It is a new kind of hardy perennial flower in the garden. It is suitable to be planted in clusters or strips, and can also be potted for viewing. Lavender has been a common herb since Roman times and is known as "after vanilla" because of its most powerful properties. Since ancient times, it has been widely used in medical treatment. Stems and leaves can be used as medicine, which has the effect of invigorating the stomach, sweating and relieving pain. It is good medicine for colds, abdominal pain and eczema.
