Arnica arnica is a compositae plant, distributed in North America, containing essential oil components, traditionally is a healing herb for injuries and blood stasis. With prostrate rhizomes and erect stems, summer open daisy-like chrysanthemum.Individual arnica plants are between 6 inches (15 centimeters) and 2 feet (60 centimeters) tall. The leaves grow in close clusters at the base of the stem, and the flowers are yellow in color, somewhat like daisies.
