Description:
Alfalfa is a perennial legume pasture and is the most cultivated forage species in China and even in the world. Because of its wide adaptability, high yield, good quality and other advantages, known as the "king of grass ", the reputation. Alfalfa has a life span of 5-10 years and can be planted in areas with annual rainfall of 250-800 mm and frost-free period of more than 100 days. Prefers neutral soil.PH 6-7.5 is preferred, and 6.7-7.0 is the best. Adult plants are 1-1.5 m tall.
