Description:
Semen Coicis is wide oval or long oval, 4 ~ 8mm long, 3 ~ 6mm wide. The surface is milky white and smooth, with occasional residual yellow-brown seed coat. One end blunt round, the other end wider and slightly concave, with a light brown punctate hilum. The back is round and convex, and the abdomen has a wide and deep longitudinal groove. Solid quality, white section, pink. The air is mild and the taste is sweet.
