Description:
Chamomile extract is the dried whole grass extract of compositae chamomile. It mainly contains flavonoids, saponins, polysaccharides, volatile oil and other active ingredients, and has anti-inflammatory, antifungal and antispasmodic effects. Because of its various medicinal properties, it has been used as a medicinal cosmetic ingredient, and ointments, creams and lotions containing the volatile oil of chamomile have been used in Europe to treat various skin diseases.
Function:
1. The ring ether, flavonoids and total volatile oil of chamomile had different inhibitory effects on fungal growth.
2. Chamomile extract can promote skin ulcer healing in mice.
3. Apigenin and its aglycone flavonoid are the main components of chamomile for spasmolysis of smooth muscle.
