Description:
Stout lianas, up to 8 meters long, all long yellow hair, woody stem base, thick lumpy roots. Compound leaves pinnate with 3 leaflets; Stipules carried, ovate-oblong, linear; Stipules linear-lanceolate, as long as or longer than petiole; Leaflets trilobed, occasionally entire, terminal leaflets broadly ovate or obvially ovate, 8 -- 15(-19) cm long and 5 -- 12(-18) cm wide, apex long acuminate, lateral leaflets obvially ovate, slightly smaller, covered with pale yellow, plant-pubescent hairs above.
