Description:

Diosmin : Hesperidin 10:1-- Grayish-yellow or light yellow hygroscopic powder. Practically insoluble in water, soluble in dimethyl sulphoxide, practically insoluble in alcohol. It dissolves in dilute solutions of alkali hydroxides.

Function:

Have Vitamin P effects. Decrease fragility and abnormal permeability of blood vessels. Low toxic. Used to auxiliarily cure high blood pressure,  arterialsclerosis and capillary fragility. Also used to cure  hemorrhoids and chronic venous insufficiency.

Applications:

Medicines, health care products, drinks and so on.
