Magnolia officinalis P.E. (Magnolia officinalis P.E.), active ingredients: Magnolol, magnolol, total magnolol. Plant source: Active constituents of the skin of Magnolia officinalis Rehder et Wilson. This product is a kind of white powder crystallization. Soluble in benzene, ether, chloroform, acetone, difficult to dissolve in water, soluble in dilute alkali solution, sodium salt. Phenolic hydroxyl groups are easily oxidized, while allyl groups are easily added. It has special and lasting muscle relaxation and strong antibacterial action, and can inhibit platelet aggregation. Clinical mainly used as antibacterial, antifungal drugs. The product should be sealed away from light and stored in a dry, cool and well-ventilated environment.
