Polygonum cuspidatum, commonly known as Asian knotweed or Japanese knotweed, is a large, herbaceous perennial plant of the knotweed and buckwheat family Polygonaceae.Resveratrol and emodin are the main functional components in Polygonum cuspidatum,exhibits a wide range of antioxidant properties,Resveratrol has also been shown to help cardiovascular health and blood circulation, relieve pain, clear away heat, remove dampness, remove poison and remove phlegm. Other ingredients including tananthrone, emodin methyl ether and rhein all have anti-inflammatory, anti-arthritis and anti-microbial activities.
Functions:
