Description:
Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi ,also known as Camellia root and soil gold root, is a perennial herb of Scutellaria baicalensis in the Labial family. Fleshy rhizoid, leaves hard paper, lanceolate to linear lanceolate, racemes on stem and branches, corolla purple, purplish red to blue, filaments flat, style slender, disk annular, ovary brown, nuts ovoid, fruit from July to September.
