Polygonum multiflorum (PM) is a species of flowering plant in the buckwheat family polygonaceae. It is one of the most popular perennial traditional Chinese medicines called He Shou Wu in China and East Asia. PM has long been used as a component for anti-hair loss and anti-hair greying treatment prescriptions.
