Description:
Soybean Herbs annual, 30-90 cm tall. Stem stout, erect, or distally subtwining, distally more or less angulate, densely covered with long brown bristles. Leaves usually 3-leaflet; Stipules broadly ovate, acuminate, 3-7 mm long, veined, yellow pilose; Petiole 2-20 cm long, sparsely pilose or angulate and bristly when young; Leaflets papery, broadly ovate, suborbicular or elliptic lanceolate, apex larger, 5 -- 12 cm long and 2.5 -- 8 cm wide, apex acuminate or suborbicular, rarely obtuse, tuberosity, base broadly cuneate or rounded, lateral leaflets smaller, obliquely ovate, usually scattered hispid or glabrous on both surfaces; Lateral veins 5 on each side; Stipules beryllium needle-shaped, 1-2 mm long; Petioles 1.5 -- 4 mm long, covered with tawny bristles.
