Description:
Persimmon (Diospyros kaki Thunb.) is a large deciduous tree of persimmon family and genus. Usually more than 10-14 meters high, breast height up to 65 cm in diameter; Bark dark gray to grayish black, or yellowish grayish brown to brown; Crown globose or oblong. Branches spreading, greenish to brown, glabrous, scattered longitudinally lobed oblong or narrowly oblong lenticels; Shoots initially angulate, brownish pilose or tomentose or glabrous.
