Primula malacoides Franch. A biennial herb of the genus Primula in the Primulaceae, usually having pinkish clusters of leaves, ovate to elliptic or oblong leaves, lobes with irregularly toothed teeth, and petioles covered with multicellulate pilose hairs. Scape up to 40 cm tall, umbels, bracts linear or linear-lanceolate, pedicels slender, calyx campanulate, corolla pink, pale bluish-purple or subwhite, capsule globose, feburary to May, fruition from March to June.
