Functions:
1. Antioxidant effect
Celery is rich in flavonoids and has the ability to resist oxidation and scavenge free radicals. Apigenin can effectively scavenge DPPH free radicals and hydroxyl free radicals, inhibit the degree of DNA damage caused by HO·, and delay the damage time. In addition, celery seeds are rich in selenium and have strong antioxidant capacity.
2. Calm and relieve pain
Butylphthalide contained in celery seeds is a class of compounds with a calming effect. At present, 5 kinds of these ingredients have been extracted from celery seed oil.
