Hydroxy Citric acid (HCA); Hydroxy Citric acid (HCA); Hydroxycitric acid), containing 10 -- 30% similar to Citric acid. The fruit tree is native to India, where it is known as Brindleberry, from Garcinia Cambogia. The fruit is similar to a citrus fruit, also known as a tamarind fruit. Rattan fruit has been used as a spicy ingredient in curry powder since ancient times.
