Phyllanthus Embergia is a kind of fruit with the same origin of medicine and food. The origin of Emblica is in the Himalayas in the northern part of the Indian Mountains. Fresh Emblica is sweet and sour, crispy, slightly astringent, and has a sweet aftertaste, which has unique medicinal value.
1. It restores the noise-stress induced changes because of its antioxidant properties.
2. It has ability to induce cytotoxicity in tumour cells.
3. It prevents superoxide-induced haemolysis of erythrocytes.
