Nicknames for hollow lip ginger include Chinese key, Krachai-dang (in Thailand), Temu Kunci (in Indonesia) and Chinese ginger.Gingerbread has traditionally been used to help cure certain diseases and to flavor dishes. Some studies suggest it may have antibacterial and anticancer effects.
