Schisandra (Schisandra Chinensis in Latin) is the dehydrated mature fruit of a herb known as Schisandra Chinensis and belongs to the Schisandraceae family. The seeds are sown in spring and the Schisandra fruit is reaped in autumn after it is completely mature.
