Description:
Polygonum aviculare Extract annual herbs, 10~40cm high, often white powder; Stems caespitose, prostrate or oblique, green, furrowed, leaves transitory, leaves linear to lanceolate, 1 -- 4cm wide, 6 -- 10cm long, apex obtuse or acute, base cuneate, subsessile; Ostil sheath membranous, lower brown, upper white transparent, with obvious veins. Flowers 1 to 5 fascicled leaf axils, outside stipules sheath exposed, pedicels short, basally related nodes; Perianth 5-lobed, lobes elliptic, dark green, margin white or reddish; Stamens 8; Style 3-parted. Achene ovate, more than 2mm long, surface angulate, brown or black, with inconspicuous dots.
