Bacopa Monnieri Leaf Extract belongs to Creeping herbs, rooting at nodes, fleshy, glabrous, very sessile, oblanceolate, 8 -- 20mm long, 3 -- 6mm wide, rounded and blunt at apex, rarely dentate flowers solitary in leaf axils, pedicels 0.5 -- 3.5cm long; Under calyx there is a pair of strip-shaped bracts; Two of the sepals are ovate-lanceolate, and the other three are lanceolate to strip, about 5mm in length; Corolla blue purple or white Chemicalbook, 8 -- 10mm long, indistinct 2-lip, upper lip 2-lobed; Stamens 4; Stigma capitate capsule long ovate, apical sharp, wrapped in the persistent calyx,4 valves split seed elliptic, one end truncated, yellowish-brown, surface with longitudinal arrowed, flowering may ~ October habitat and distribution in wet waterside and sandy beach distribution in Taiwan, Fujian, Guangdong, Yunnan, widely distributed in the tropical world.
